Sound and Image Group Pty Ltd (the “Company”) respects the privacy concerns of the users of its website, manterra.com.au, including any subdomains or subpages, and the services provided therein (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy describes what information and personally identifiable information we collect about you and the users of the Services (collectively, we will refer you to you and all users of the Services as “you” or “your”), our legal basis for processing the personal information, how the Company will use the personal information, how the personal information will be stored, and your rights in relation to the collection of your personal information when you visit, use, or interact with our Site, and all associated services offered on or through the Website, (collectively, the Site, and all other services offered on or through the Site shall be referred to herein as the “Services”).

Why the Company Collections Information: The Company collects personally identifiable information about you to improve how we operate, offer our Services, communicate with you about those Services, and provide effective, timely customer support when needed. We do not share your personally identifiable information except as set forth in this Privacy Policy, and we will never rent or sell any of the personal information we collect from you to third parties.

What Kind of personal information Do We Collect: In this Privacy Policy, and under applicable law, “personal information” and “personally identifiable information” are used interchangeably to mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual; and an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number (e.g., a social security number) or one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity (e.g., name and first name, date of birth, biometrics data, fingerprints, etc.).

In this section, we will explain what type of information and personal information we collect, and how it is collected. We collect information and personal information about you in a few different ways when you use the Services or visit the Site. Should you decide to not provide the Company the personal information identified in this Privacy Policy, then we may not be able to provide the Services to you.

Company collects personal information in a variety of ways when you interact with the Site, including when you provide the Company information (including your name and email address); register or create an account with Company; when you place an order at Company; when you use the Services; when you visit Company pages or pages of certain Company partners; when you enter promotions or sweepstakes; when you subscribe to a newsletter or desire to be added to our mailing lists for other Services; when you correspond or otherwise interact with us; and when you provide feedback in any of our online surveys.

Information we collect may include: your name, e-mail address, phone number, address, billing information, demographic information provided by you (such as language, gender and age, and, if applicable, preferences and personalisation information) and personal interest information. On occasion, we may ask for additional information to enable us to provide you with access to and use of certain information, materials and Services. Company may combine information about you that we have the information we obtain from business partners or other companies.

Automatically Collected Information: When you visit the Site and/or utilize the Services, the Company automatically collects some information about you and your activities. For example, when you visit the Site, the Company automatically collects information about your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, your computer operating system and browser type, the amount of time you spent accessing the Website, language preferences, and the website you were viewing directly before you visited the Website. In addition, the Company utilizes cookies as discussed below.

Do Not Track Signals: We currently do accept Do-Not-Track Signals and do not employ technology that recognises Do-Not-Track Signals from your browser.

Use of Information: As a general policy, no personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, or e-mail address, is automatically collected from your visit to the Site.

The Site’s various mailing lists, downloads, special offers, contests, registration forms, and surveys may request that you give us contact information such as your name, mailing and/or e-mail address, demographic information such as your age and gender, and personal preference information. Any such mailing list, download, etc., will use the information you provide to communicate or provide information to you. Information you submit to the Company will be used by the Company only as necessary for our legitimate business interests, including without limitation the improvement of our products, services and the contents of the Site. The Company may also share such information with our business and promotional partners to further those interests. Please also note that third-parties who provide and/or publish content via the Company’s Site shall be deemed the data controllers for any personal data contained in the content uploaded by any such party to the Company’s Site (“Third-Party Content”) and any other personal data processed in relation to such Third-Party Content. This Privacy Policy only concerns the processing of personal information for which the Company is the data controller. If you have any questions regarding personal data contained in the Third-Party Content, please contact the third-party provider responsible for such Third-Party Content.

Payment Information: Certain Services made available through the Site require payment.  To make any such payment through the Site, payment information will be required. The Company does not store or directly access any of your payment information or account information. Instead, the Company utilizes third party payments processors to process all payments.  The Company does not have direct responsibility or control over your payment information or account information. The Company’s agreements with the third parties service provides that receive your payment information and/or account information require them to keep the information secure and confidential.

As such, the Company cannot and does not guarantee that the transmission of your payment information or related personal information will always be secured against access from unauthorised third parties. There is always the chance that unauthorised third parties will be able to defeat the security measures taken by the Company or the third parties we have contracted with.  The Company makes no representations or warranties and assumes no liability or responsibility for improper access to or disclosure of your payment information or personal information due to unauthorised third-party access, errors in transmission, or other causes beyond the Company’s control. To help in this process, you should never share your username, password, or other information pertaining to the Company with anyone.

Children Age 16 and Under: The Company recognises the special obligation to protect personally identifiable information obtained from children age 16 and under. AS SUCH, IF YOU ARE 16 YEARS OLD OR YOUNGER, THE COMPANY REQUESTS THAT YOU NOT SUBMIT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THE SITE OR TO THE COMPANY. Please notify the Company immediately if you become aware of any such child using the Site or providing the Company personal information.  If the Company discovers that a child age 16 or younger has signed up on the Site or provided the Company with any personally identifiable information, we will promptly delete that child’s identifiable information from our records.

The Company nonetheless encourages parents to go online with their kids. Here are a few tips to help make a child’s online experience safer:

Bulletin Boards and Chat Areas: Guests of the Site are solely responsible for the content of messages they post on the Company’s forums, such as chat rooms and bulletin boards. Users should be aware that when they voluntarily disclose personal information (e.g., username, e-mail address, phone number) on the bulletin boards or in the chat areas, that information can be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages from other people. You are responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these instances. Please take care when using these features.

Choice/Opt-Out: The Site may provide you the opportunity to opt-in to receive communications from us at the point where we request information about you. You always have the option of removing your name from any e-mail list in order to discontinue any such future communications. In order to ensure immediate removal from any list, please follow the specific instructions set forth within the communications you receive from the Company which you no longer wish to receive.
